Raj K. Mahajan, M.D., F.A.C.O.G.

Dr. Mahajan is an Oswego native who returned to practice in his hometown in November 2008. He is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology. Dr. Mahajan earned his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Buffalo. He completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the State University of New York at Buffalo Affiliated Hospitals. Dr. Mahajan practiced in the Elmira area before returning to Oswego. Among the skills he brings to Oswego are his extensive knowledge of urogynecology and assisting women with incontinence issues. In addition, Dr. Mahajan has extensive experience in helping couples with fertility problems. 



He also has undergone specialized training in ultrasound and is certified as a diagnostic medical sonographer. Dr. Mahajan provides complete obstetrical and gynecological care both at Oswego Hospital and the Oswego County OB-GYN offices.

Venkata Ramani Dasari, M.D. , F.A.C.O.G

Dr. Dasari returned to practice with Oswego County OB-GYN, P.C. in December of 2021. She previously practiced here from September 2011 to May 2016. Currently she is providing Obstetrical care in the office, deliveries and management of Labor at Oswego Hospital. Dr Dasari completed her medical school and residency in India. Dr. Dasari is Board Certified by the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. When not practicing in Oswego, she has practiced in India, and Farrell, Pennsylvania. 


Dr. Dasari provides complete obstetrical care at Oswego Hospital and the Oswego County OB-GYN offices.

Vladimir Breslau, M.D., D.O., PhD, F.A.C.O.O.G 

Dr. Vladimir Breslau is an obstetrician gynecologist who is practicing at Oswego County OB-GYN. Currently he is seeing obstetrical and gynecology patients at all of our locations. He graduated from New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2002 as a Doctor of Osteopathy and completed residency in New York City in 2007. Dr. Breslau received his PHD in 1985 and graduated Medical school in 1976. He has been practicing in the US since 2007. 

Megan Irland, P.A.-C. 

Megan Irland, a certified physician assistant, earned her master's degree in physician assistant studies from LeMoyne College in 2011 and a bachelor's degree in biology and pre-med from Hartwick College in 2006. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. Before coming to Oswego County OB-GYN, she was employed in a Neuro Critical Care I.C.U. in New Orleans for four years. She also worked at Oswego County Opportunities in their family planning division in 2012. Megan provides office-based obstetrical and gynecological care in the Oswego and Fulton locations. 

Mackenzie Mahajan, P.A.-C. 

Mackenzie Mahajan is a certified physician assistant, certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. Mackenzie was born and raised in Elmira, New York. She graduated from Notre Dame High School in Elmira. Following high school, she enrolled in a 3+2 Physician Assistant Program at Le Moyne College in Syracuse, NY. There, she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 2021. She then went on to receive her Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies in 2022. Mackenzie’s interests include Peloton, cooking, and spending time with her family and dog. Mackenzie provides office-based obstetrical and gynecological care in the Oswego and Fulton locations. 

DoMonique Trotter, C.N.M. 

DoMonique is originally from Elizabethtown, KY, and received her BSN from the University of Louisville. After graduation, she moved to Fayetteville, NC. She worked as a surgical service nurse for one year and six (6) years as a labor and delivery nurse working in several types of hospitals to gain different perspectives of birth and to work with midwives. While in North Carolina, she pursued her MSN at East Carolina University (ECU).



She graduated from ECU in May of 2022 and relocated to Northern Virginia for her first job as a Certified Nurse-Midwife. As a CNM she enjoys representing and providing care to African American women and adolescents. She is very excited to service the women of Oswego County and develop her niche in what the women desire within this area. She will be seeing Obstetrical and Gynecological patients at all locations and will be delivering babies at Oswego Hospital.

In her spare time, DoMonique enjoys playing with her 3 cats (Bellatrix, Weasley, and Albus); networking/leadership seminars, ballroom dancing, boxing, and traveling to watch her sister perform in professional musical productions. 

IN MEMORY...

Joseph E. Mather Jr., M.D., F.A.C.O.G.

Dr. Mather was raised in Oswego and graduated from the University of Notre Dame. He returned to CNY in 1982 to complete his OB/GYN residency at SUNY Upstate, following Medical School at St George’s University in Grenada. Dr. Mather returned to Oswego to join Oswego County OB-GYN in 1986 and became Board Certified by ACOG in 1988 and voluntarily re-certified in 1999. Dr. Mather was a Past Chairman of the Oswego Hospital Board of Trustees and served on many committees, most notably the Construction projects for the new Surgical, ICU and Maternity departments. He also served as chair of the Quality Assurance Committee of ACOG District II.
Dr. Mather delivered countless infants and provided excellent healthcare to many women in Oswego County during his twenty-six years in practice. Unfortunately, Dr. Mather passed away in July 2012 after a two year illness. He is truly missed by his patients, colleagues, staff, community and family.

Joseph E. Mather Sr., M.D., F.A.C.O.G.

A founding member of Oswego County OB-GYN, Dr. Mather first came to Oswego in 1961, following Medical School at SUNY Upstate in Syracuse, residency on Long Island, and a two year stint in the Army. Dr. Mather has been Board Certified in OB/GYN since 1963, is a Past President of the County Medical Society, CNY Association of OB/GYN’s and ACOG District Chairman. Dr Mather retired in June 2013 after practicing for 52 years. Dr. Mather was a key figure in helping to shape the healthcare system of Oswego County.

Dr. Mather passed away in April of 2024.

RETIRED...

Ronald V. Uva, M.D., F.A.C.O.G.

Dr. Uva is the other founding member of Oswego County OB-GYN. Dr. Uva joined Dr. Mather in practice in Oswego in 1980. Dr. Uva received a bachelor's degree in Biology from SUNY at Buffalo, earned his M.D. at University of Studies, Bologna, Italy, and completed residency at SUNY Upstate. He was Board Certified by the American College of OB/GYN in 1982 and voluntarily re-certified in 1999.

Dr. Uva was the Chief of OB/GYN at Oswego Hospital and NYS Legislative Chairman for ACOG and member of the New York State Board for Medicine. Dr. Uva retired from the practice of medicine in October 2013 but continues to advocate for legislative reform for women's health issues.
